I've landed a radio position at SAM Radio, a non-profit community radio station run by autistic people, for autistic people. I do a weekly show on Friday at 1pm talking about mental health and playing corresponding tracks from different genres. I wanted to share this with you because Gaydio's guidance and enthusiasm has played a big role in my journey so far. Thanks for helping me on the Gaydio Course.

I took part in a free 5-day course led by Lee, who was very enthusiastic, supportive and uplifting. From day one, we got hands-on experience recording in a studio. You feel nervous at first, but the feeling straight afterwards is so worth it! We have recorded different style demos - from fun and charismatic to factual and serious. Each day is full of interesting content - make sure you don't miss out on any of it! It is a very well-rounded course covering all the jobs/steps/crafts involved in radio and podcasting.

Lee and the Gaydio staff are a force to be reckoned with. They know their stuff and you truly believe you are in good hands with the knowledge you receive valuable and very informative delivered in a fun way that makes you take every bit in. If I could I would go on every course Gaydio holds. Definitely made me want to join and work in radio more. This was one of the most impactful courses I have ever done. After looking for a career change and not working for a while it was a breath of fresh air that I didn't realise I was looking for. Lee was the perfect tutor for the course with boundless enthusiasm and knowledge. I learnt so much from him and took away some great professionally sounding recorded clips and so much enthusiasm and a renewed belief in my abilities.
