How it worked
Alongside the online and social output of the Culture Hub, Gaydio and the Academy also produce content that lives on air, reaching listeners across Manchester and the wider UK. Throughout the programme, applicants learn how to film on location, conduct interviews and capture video footage, which they then edit together to create a reel promoting the events. In doing so, they gain practical, hands-on experience of producing material that works across both broadcast and digital channels.
