About this course

In 2022, as one of the main partners of Pride In London 2022, and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund's Awards For All scheme, Gaydio Academy delivered radio skills training and mentoring for up to 20 participants from London. After training, the participants recorded and edited interviews about Pride in London for broadcast on our Evening Show and the Academy website.

Course Structure

How it worked

A 2-day course: skills training and interview technique, then interviewing LGBTQ+ businesses across London, editing the interviews down for air, and joining Gaydio's street team and parade presence on Pride day itself.

What learners took away

Real, broadcast-ready interviews about Pride in London, edited by the participants themselves and aired on Gaydio's Evening Show and the Academy website.
