Audible Futures - Audio & Video Podcasting

Funded by Audible
Overview

About this course

'Audible Futures' with Gaydio is a powerful podcast series that explores the diverse experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals across the North West and is a spin-off of our 'Audible Lives' podcast series. Through personal storytelling and shared advice, participants open up about their journeys and offer insight to others in the community.

This project is taking place in both Manchester and Liverpool, where participants will attend a series of sessions focused on storytelling, interviewing, and podcast recording & production. You will be guided by podcast professionals, including Emma Goswell, a multi-award-winning podcaster and author. After the initial session, you are tasked with interviewing LGBTQ+ individuals and allies from across the UK, using these conversations as the foundation for their group-created podcasts.
